The 2016 Civic makes you question why you would ever want to buy an Accord.
The 2016 Accord makes you question why you would ever want to buy a TLX.
The 2016 Acura TLX makes you question why you didn’t just get the Accord.
Well luckily Honda is making each model (excluding the HR-V) feel like the next class up. Even the CR-V and Pilot relate the same way and hopefully once the Fit is updated, the HR-V will get the charm. I think Honda is on track and nailing how models should relate to one another.
Is anyone else excited for the next Honda Fit? I think an SI is going to happen. Also, is anyone still hyped for the Civic Type-R? I can’t remember the last time it was even mentioned.

Civic > Accord because palindrome! Side note, I live in an area where Hondas are never modified in anyway. Any trim level Forte Koups, Imprezas, and Lancers on the other hand...

I’m very curious about both the Civic Si and the Fit. I was talking to a buddy’s girlfriend the other day and she said, “I really hope they make a hybrid Fit.” To which I replied, “I really hope they make a 180-200hp Fit.”
Everyone wants a Fit in some shape or form.

Damn Wobbles I’m going to have to disagree here. Making the cheaper models better than the more expensive models doesn’t help the line up. The more expensive models should have more features or something to differentiate them and make them worth the extra money.
Make all the cars in the line up good should be the goal but not make it so people feel like they wasted their money if they go with the higher end models.

How I’m seeing it is that the Civic makes you feel like you’re a class above, Accord country, therefore everyone feels like they got the best deal. Then you check out the Accord and feel like you bought an Acura, just as satisfied as the Civic buyers! However, Acura needs to up their game because the Honda versions are killing them. An ILX should feel better than a Civic and make you feel like you got something better than the entry level sedan. TLX should make buyers feel like they are in the flagship model, and the RLX should make buyers feel like they aren’t even in the same brand anymore.
I think all lineups should do this. Buy a Cayman and you should think, “who needs a Carrera? This is the perfect sportscar!” Then they get into a Carrera and think, “Hotchie Motchie! This is better than Cayman! A Turbo would ruin this!!” Then you get into a Turbo and think, “Ahhhhhhh!!!” In a good way of course.

Oh okay see we’re actually on the same page regarding making all the cars good. The ILX is a joke compared the new Civic for sure, for a compact luxury sedan it seriously lacks any sort of presence.

The new Civic is so much better than the previous gen. I was debating between a 2016 Civic EX or 2016 Accord Sport. I’ve decided to go with an Accord.
